Documents and passwords
These PDF tools read and process files in your browser. They do not upload document contents, document names, signatures, passwords, or comparison reports to RecodeX or third-party processing services. Files are not placed in a document database.
What the website receives
Your browser requests pages and fixed application modules. Web servers may record ordinary request information such as requested URLs, IP addresses, browser details, and request times. Files selected inside the local workspace are not part of these requests. Signing in uses the separate RecodeX account service.
Local storage and cleanup
Site preferences and tool favorites may be stored locally. PDF contents and passwords are not persisted by the PDF workspace. Modules may use the browser’s HTTP cache. Temporary file buffers and download links are released when reset or when the workspace closes. Browser memory management cannot promise immediate secure erasure of every copy. Downloaded files remain on your device until you remove them.
Your choices
Do not select documents on an untrusted device. Review results before sharing, close the workspace when finished, and use browser controls to clear saved site data when needed.
